Hatred is a strong feeling of dislike, detestation, repugnance, against a person or thing for various reasons.
In Proverbs 6:16-19, we learn God hates sin, but He has extended His love to sinners that they might be saved through Jesus Christ - John 3:16
The Word of God teaches us that having hatred toward a person is a sin that will prevent you from inheriting the Kingdom of God - Galatians 5:19-21
In 1 John 2:9-11, we learn those that will persist in hating someone else have created an obscure pathway for themselves, a way that is filled with stumbling blocks because the sin of hatred has darkened their path and blinded their eyes - Genesis 37:4
If you have hatred festering in your heart toward your brother, it is time to get rid of it because it can lead to destructive and more sinful behavior - Romans 12:17-21
You may have never physically taken a life of another. However, if you hate your brother, the Word of God says you are a murderer and you have no eternal life abiding in you, you’re abiding in death - 1 John 3:14-15
Truly, it is a blessing to be loving instead of hating. Therefore, let us be encouraged to love God that we may see the light and abide therein - Proverbs 15:17
Jesus has provided all things, why not come?
